Gold Coast Light Rail was a priority transport project comprising 16 stations along the 13km dedicated light rail corridor from Griffith University (Parklands Drive, Southport) to Broadbeach.

It was the first project in Queensland to require independent verification of communication and stakeholder engagement as part of the project contract – signalling a new era in stakeholder management in Queensland.

Rowland’s role as independent verifier provided the client with confidence that contractual requirements were met, project risks were identified, and effective verification and monitoring systems were in place.
